Likeable stayer who produced a highly encouraging return with third in a handicap at Bangor, giving best late having made the running. Should be spot on now, so bold bid expected.
Pretty useful hurdler/chaser who fared as well as could be expected when seventh in the Charlie Hall at Wetherby on his penultimate outing but fell at Haydock since and mark demands improvement.
Second in Midlands National on final outing last term. Career-best to score on return over hurdles at Uttoxeter (23.3f) but turned in a lacklustre effort back in this discipline at Cheltenham since.
Better than ever when landing Masters Handicap at Sandown in February and not disgraced in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham subsequently. His jumping went at Haydock on reappearance, though.
One-time useful chaser who has seemingly had problems since early 2019 and has plenty to prove having been pulled up at Bangor last time.
Low-mileage 7-y-o who landed a C&D novice last season and makes plenty of appeal in first-time cheekpieces following an excellent third at Cheltenham on reappearance.
Winning hurdler/chaser who was second of 3 in a novice chase at Wetherby 8 months ago. Will likely be tuned up but doesn't have much in hand. Has had a wind op.
Won 3 times last season. Not in quite same form on final 2 starts, though and pulled up at Sandown on return.
Course novice hurdle winner in 2018. Bettered that form in 3 runs over fences last winter and yet to be asked for effort when coming down at the twelfth at Haydock on return. One to consider.
Fairly useful chaser who has been a creditable second on 2 of his last 3 outings. Could make an impact if he can cut out his customary mistakes.

Forecasts
Lamanver Pippin (10/3), The Two Amigos (9/2), Secret Reprieve (5/1), Yalltari (11/2), Captain Tommy (8/1), Deise Aba (9/1), Captain Drake (14/1), Saint Xavier (18/1), Jepeck (22/1), Domaine De L'Isle (25/1), Bobo Mac (28/1)
LAMANVER PIPPIN looked better than ever when a narrow third in a competitive event at Cheltenham on his return and is back at the scene of his latest victory, so he's a confident choice in first-time cheekpieces. The lightly-raced Secret Reprieve is an obvious danger and The Two Amigos should give it a good go from the front.
- LAMANVER PIPPIN
- SECRET REPRIEVE (IRE)
- THE TWO AMIGOS
