Manwell^t²⁸⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 11-9| J: Jonathan England| T: S England| OR: 114WS

9/1

Fairly useful 20f winning chaser at his best. Figures on a good mark now so not ruled out on comeback if fully tuned up after 9 months off. Market can guide.

Form: 4/64345-

Oscar Wilde¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: Ryan Mania| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 110| C

6/4

Course winner who arrives on back of good fifth of 9 in 22f handicap chase at Leicester 18 days ago. Dropped 3 lb so expected to be bang there.

3/1

Scottish Accent^p,t²⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: Nathan Moscrop⁽³⁾| T: R Menzies| OR: 104

11/2

In the frame all five runs over hurdles and hinted at promise on chase debut when fifth in 20f Hexham novice handicap. Has more to offer back over fences so worth considering.

Form: 4332-54

Iskabeg Lane⁵⁰⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 10-12| J: Sean Quinlan| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 103| D

14/1

Unreliable sort who hasn't been seen on the track since pulled up lame in 3m handicap chase at Southwell 16 months ago. Fitness a huge concern on his comeback run now.

Form: 217/22P-

Forecasts

Oscar Wilde (6/4), Mah Mate Bob (3/1), Cherokee Bill (7/2), Scottish Accent (11/2), Call Of The Loon (13/2), Manwell (9/1), Iskabeg Lane (14/1), France De Reve (25/1)

OSCAR WILDE opened his account over fences here and another bold showing is very much on the cards having been dropped a handy 3 lb for his good recent Leicester fifth. Ex-Irish Cherokee Bill made a pleasing start for Henry Oliver when fourth at Hereford on his return last month so rates the chief threat, although Scottish Accent is still unexposed over fences so can have a say too.
