Brave Mansonnien gelding. Dam raced once over hurdles in France, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 21f) Quartano. Newcomer from good yard who would enter reckoning if market vibes strong.

Bright start for new yard when second over 2m at Hereford but failed to repeat that (did too much too soon) when fading into fourth at Taunton since. Claims on Hereford run with hood added now.

Runner-up a couple of times in bumpers and left previous hurdles efforts well behind when occupying same spot at Fakenham in January. No show on his recent Market Rasen reappearance, though.

Useful on Flat for John Gosden in 2018. Off 2 years, only well-held eighth in Ludlow maiden hurdle on belated return for new yard but wouldn't be a shock if he proved a different proposition now.

In a trappy-looking maiden hurdle the vote goes to FREEZING POINT who could only manage third in a bumper last month but the fact he went off a short-priced favourite suggests he'd been showing Dan Skelton the right signs and he could easily prove a different proposition now jumping. Tremwedge and Caddyhill have the form to get involved, while Whitlock could leave his hurdle debut run behind.
