Fair hurdler who switches to fences on the back of a creditable reappearance third at Newton Abbot (21.5f, heavy). This trip a minimum but could still play a part if taking to his new discipline.
Improved efforts in handicap hurdles in the mud at the start of 2020, second at Lingfield before going one better at Huntingdon (25f). Cheekpieces added. Interesting now switching to fences.
Improved to make a winning reappearance in 19.5f Chepstow handicap (19.5f, soft) 22 days ago. Bred to make a chaser. High on the shortlist.
Better than result on Bangor chase debut/reappearance. Creditable second over hurdles here (2m) since and step back up in trip a help now returning to fences. Open to improvement.
Made a positive start for this yard over hurdles last summer, including a win at Fontwell, but struggled switched to fences over the winter. Mark on slide but best watched on return unless backed.
Dual winner in points who has improved to land pair of 3m handicap chases here this autumn. Clear with an improver latterly and should have a big part to play under his 7 lb penalty.
Winning pointer but Rules career yet to really get going, albeit he may have needed the run when sixth of 14 on 2m Lingfield chase debut/reappearance. Step back up in trip should help.
Maiden pointer. Runner-up in 2m maiden hurdle here last December but disappointed in a couple of handicaps in January. Now switches to fences after 9 months off. Yard also runs Robin of Sherwood.
Well held in maiden/novice hurdles in 2018/19 but it wouldn't be a surprise to see this former Irish point winner fare better in handicap chases. Been off a while but needs monitoring in the betting.
Modest maiden hurdler for Olly Murphy. Pulled up in 2m course maiden chase on reappearance. More realistic chance back in handicap but can still only be watched.
Modest hurdler but set to do better over fences after returning from 19 months off to finish second at Lingfield (23f) 8 days ago. Player if coping with quick turnaround for last year's winning yard.
Little impact over hurdles in 2018/19. Off 20 months. Could only consider if backed now chasing on return.
Showed a bit in his qualifying runs but failed to make a significant impact in handicap hurdles last season. Remains to be seen if he fares any better now chasing.
Yet to better poor form over hurdles, although he did look threatening until a mistake 2 out in 2½m course handicap hurdle 6 weeks ago. Switches to fences now. One of 2 runners from his stable.

Forecasts
Don Herbager (9/4), Robin Of Sherwood (3/1), Lamanver Bel Ami (7/1), Sabbathical (17/2), Little Red Lion (17/2), Landofsmiles (9/1), Do It For Thy Sen (12/1), Layerthorpe (16/1), Orsino (22/1), Maasai Warrior (25/1), Clondaw's Answer (28/1), Flying Garry (50/1), Paddys Runner (80/1), Bredon Hill Leo (100/1), Three County's (200/1)
LAMANVER BEL AMI should be suited by this slightly longer trip now chasing and is taken to supplement last month's Chepstow hurdle success. Robin of Sherwood is an obvious danger as he goes in search of a course hat-trick. Don Herbager should also have a say if this doesn't come too soon on the back of last week's comeback run at Lingfield.
- LAMANVER BEL AMI
- ROBIN OF SHERWOOD (IRE)
- DON HERBAGER (FR)
