Forecasts

Samoot (11/10), Violet Warda (4/1), The First Hurrah (11/2), Vadream (6/1), Cheshire Plain (9/1), Sacristy (20/1), Seaclusion (22/1), Snow Empress (22/1), Beryl The Peril (33/1), Roby Mill (100/1), Rhode Island Girl (125/1), Bella Cove (250/1), True Contendor (300/1), Dudley's Dream (300/1)

Verdict

SAMOOT very much caught the eye when third in a maiden at Sandown in August, given a considerate ride and finishing with running left, and should prove hard to beat with above-average improvement on the cards. The First Hurrah made an encouraging first start at Kempton and is likely to build on that, while Cheshire Plain makes most appeal of the newcomers before market clues.

  1. SAMOOT (IRE)
  2. THE FIRST HURRAH (FR)
  3. CHESHIRE PLAIN (FR)
