Fairly useful winning hurdler/chaser who caught the eye in the Plate at the Festival and was supported when failing to complete in listed C&D handicap last month (fallen both starts here).
Classy chaser at his peak with a good record here. Well held over hurdles final 2 starts last season but tempting back chasing on return at this venue in lower grade that he usually contests.
Took well to fences last season, winning 3 small-field events, and caught the eye when going off too hard in C&D handicap on return last month. Can do better with that under his belt.
Another who goes well here, successful in C&D handicap chase on Boxing Day off similar mark. Record suggests he might need this after 8 months off.
In the form of his life, beating a subsequent winner in 19.4f Stratford handicap chase a fortnight ago. This is tougher again up 5 lb but he clearly can't be discounted.
Quickly bettered his hurdles form chasing last season, winning 2m Sandown handicap in December. Well beaten following month but remains with potential back up in trip on return.
Won 2m Sedgefield novice handicap chase in the mud a year ago and back on a similar mark though needs to jump better (plenty of mistakes but still bang there when falling 2 out on return).
Produced a career-best when making all in 20.1f Newcastle handicap chase on final start of last season. Better for last month's return over hurdles here but still needs plenty more to defy this mark.
Fairly useful winning chaser who was placed all 3 runs in handicaps last term (second to The Paddy Pie at Newcastle final run). Unfortunate faller on return here a fortnight ago and could feature.

Forecasts
Schiehallion Munro (10/3), Fanzio (9/2), Louis' Vac Pouch (5/1), Rose Sea Has (6/1), Johnbb (7/1), Guitar Pete (15/2), The Paddy Pie (16/1), Bollin Ace (16/1), Beau Bay (18/1)
GUITAR PETE is approaching 11 but could be worth chancing given his cracking record over C&D, which includes a win on his reappearance. Schiehallion Munro did far too much in front on his return here last month but shaped well nevertheless and can go well. Johnbb remains with potential starting out in his second season over fences and completes the shortlist.
