Grade 1-winning hurdler who made a satisfactory start to chasing when second of 3 to If The Cap Fits at Ffos Las in October. That form has been let down since but he remains with plenty of potential.

Looks limited.
Just modest over hurdles and ran no sort of race in a handicap at Fontwell on return. Most unlikely to feature on first go at chasing.
Fair hurdler for Nicholls but out of sorts when last seen and no surprise if he has a considerate introduction to chasing start out for a new stable.
Winning Irish pointer who made promising start under Rules, shaping well in a bumper before a successful hurdling debut. Underperformed up in grade when last seen in January but should make a chaser.
Winning pointer who looked really classy when landing his first 3 hurdling outings. Finished distressed when below form in Ballymore at Cheltenham but returns as an exciting chasing prospect.

Forecasts
Sporting John (10/11), Fiddlerontheroof (11/10), Silver Hallmark (12/1), Ostuni (150/1), One For Dunstan (250/1), Gibb Hill (250/1)
SPORTING JOHN looked all class prior to an excusable run in the Ballymore in March and he's very much the type to make a better chaser, so a chance is taken on him to overhaul Fiddlerontheroof in a race that should be dominated by the talented duo. Silver Hallmark is the clear pick of the remainder.
