Dual winner of this contest and smart hurdler at his best. Returns after wind op/16 months off but has gone well fresh before so he's not to be underestimated. Well worth a market check.
Useful winning hurdler but (11/4) made inauspicious start over fences when last of 4 in novice at Chepstow (23.6f, good) 31 days ago. Quickly back over hurdles and not ruled out.
Course winner who arrives on a hat-trick after recent handicap successes at Uttoxeter and Market Rasen. Up another 4 lb but game sort who is not taken lightly.
7/1, cashed in on reduced mark in 23f handicap hurdle at Market Rasen. Off 105 days and raised 7 lb but still well in the mix.
C&D winner but he ended last season under a cloud, tried blinkered when only sixteenth of 20 in handicap over C&D final run. Has questions to answer on his comeback.
Fairly useful winning hurdler but he has gone the wrong way in three runs over fences this term. Back over hurdles now and not dismissed.
Has improved with each of her three runs this term, and excellent fourth of 19 in 21f handicap at Cheltenham 17 days ago. Nudged up 1 lb but still holds good claims.
Fairly useful hurdle/chase winner but he arrives on back of poor effort in first-time cheekpieces when pulled up in handicap chase at Market Rasen 44 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
Yet to make the frame in four runs this season, never-dangerous fifth of 17 in 3m handicap at Cheltenham (66/1) last time. Falling in the weights but still needs to show more.
Posted creditable seventh in 20f Southwell handicap hurdle in July but jumped hesitantly on chasing bow when sixth of 9 in novice at Newton Abbot 80 days ago. Back hurdling with bit to find.

Forecasts
Flashing Glance (10/3), Storm Goddess (4/1), Younevercall (7/1), Enniscoffey Oscar (8/1), The Cashel Man (17/2), Who's My Jockey (9/1), Cotswold Way (10/1), Neverbeen To Paris (10/1), Boreham Bill (12/1), Paseo (33/1)
A case can be made for a few of these but the most persuasive one is for STORM GODDESS who is on an upward curve and is taken to gain a deserved first win of the season. Hat-trick seeking Flashing Glance rates a big threat, despite taking another rise in the weights, while the returning Younevercall, a dual former winner of this race, can't be dismissed either if a wind op sparks a resurgence.
