Low-mileage chaser scored twice on Flat this summer and still close up when falling 3 out on return in 20f Perth handicap chase. Remains unexposed over fences so big player for yard among winners.
Fairly useful chaser who probably needed the run when only fifth at Ffos Las on return. Tongue tie back on so not totally dismissed.
Held his form well last season, scoring at Fakenham over 21f, but is more exposed than most of these so needs to hit the ground running on his comeback after 9 months off.
Fairly useful chaser who has returned from 20-month layoff in excellent form, third of 15 in handicap chase (9/2) at Market Rasen (21.4f) last time. Can make his presence felt again.
Lightly-raced winning hurdler nowadays who returned after wind op with last of 5 in 3m novice chase at Bangor on debut over fences 39 days ago. Lots to prove now.
Landed this contest in 2019 and not disgraced on only second run since after 10 months off when fourth of 7 in handicap chase (18/1) at Exeter (19.2f, good) 30 days ago. In the mix.
Fairly useful hurdler who shaped encouragingly on return on only third start over fences when third in 21f handicap chase at Stratford, finishing strongly under patient ride. Well worth considering.
Prolific winning hunter chaser who made most of good opportunity when scoring at Lingfield in January 2019. Not seen since and changed stables but mark is potentially lenient so worth market check.
Unreliable type who bounced back to form to land 21f handicap chase at Fakenham 10 days ago. Not certain to be in same form now so others appeal more.
Fair winning hurdler who ran with credit on his chasing bow when third of 7 in 18f handicap chase (8/1) at Kempton 20 days ago. Respected.

Forecasts
Buster Thomas (3/1), Oleg (3/1), Hey Bud (9/2), Fresno Emery (11/2), Keep Moving (9/1), Not A Role Model (16/1), Full Trottle (18/1), Master Burbidge (22/1), Cap Du Nord (25/1), Brecon Hill (40/1)
A few in with a shout here but Paul Nicholls has his string in great nick and also has an excellent record in this race so his unexposed chaser OLEG is taken to make amends for a late fall at Perth on his return and add to his two Flat wins this summer. Buster Thomas has yet to be out of the placings in three runs this term so rates a big threat with Hey Bud and Full Trottle worth a second look.
- OLEG (GER)
- BUSTER THOMAS (IRE)
- HEY BUD
