Winning pointer who opened hurdles account at Newton Abbot (21.5f) in July 2018. Well held in a pair of handicaps thereafter but needs a second look now returning for a shrewd new stable. Hood on.

Forecasts

Prussia With Love (9/2), Kilbrew Boy (9/2), Moidore (9/2), Piggy Winkle (6/1), Henry's Joy (13/2), Ballydun Oscar (7/1), Williams Overture (10/1), Invicta Lake (11/1), Toi Storey (16/1), Classic Tune (66/1), Linguine (66/1), Ringmoylan (200/1)

Verdict

A tricky handicap but the low-mileage BALLYDUN OSCAR looks as interesting as any. He’s been off the track for two years but has eased in the weights as a result and returns for a new yard that know the time of day. Invicta Lake suggested his turn was near towards the end of last season so he's a possible threat, as is Prussia With Love, who should find things easier dropping in grade.

  1. BALLYDUN OSCAR (IRE)
  2. INVICTA LAKE (IRE)
  3. PRUSSIA WITH LOVE
