Surprise winner of a 15-runner maiden at Limerick for Declan Queally in June. However, put in her place on debut for new yard at Market Rasen last month and mark for this handicap bow is no gift.

Improved to make a winning handicap debut at Uttoxeter (2½m) in August. Further progress when going in again upped to 23f at Bangor and this unexposed 5-y-o probably has more to offer.

Successful at Perth in August, but form has nosedived badly since and she remains 9 lb above that winning mark.

Off the mark in C&D maiden hurdle in January. Struggled in handicaps since, but the assessor is showing mercy and he's certainly not one to write off just yet.

Different proposition since switched to handicaps, completing hat-trick at Hexham in September. The steady gallop may have been a bigger issue than this 11 lb higher mark back there last month.

Opened hurdles account over C&D in January 2019, but majority of his subsequent efforts have fallen some way short of that level. Opposable back from a 12-month absence (has undergone wind surgery).

Upped to 25.3f when scoring at Catterick last November. Poor effort back there a month later (latest run over hurdles) and though not disgraced on the Flat this summer, others look stronger.

Ended losing run switched back to fences here in January. Not in the same form off higher marks returned to this sphere in 3 subsequent starts, though, and he has plenty to prove at present.

Won twice in this sphere for Ben Case during 2018/19 campaign. Back to form in first-time visor when second to a progressive type at Hereford (21.7f) and stepping back up in trip looks a good move.

Dual scorer over fences (good/good to firm) for Emma Lavelle. Ended time with Dan Skelton with a second over hurdles at Newton Abbot, but efforts for this yard have been underwhelming.

Fair winner over fences last season, but beaten a long way back in this sphere on last month's reappearance.

Forecasts

Ratfacemcdougall (9/4), Del Duque (4/1), Millie Of Mayo (9/2), Order Of Thistle (8/1), Dame De Ruban (10/1), Buckled (10/1), Maison D'Or (11/1), Pammi (16/1), Izzy's Champion (22/1), Ballynanty (50/1), Set List (66/1)

Verdict

The votes goes to RATFACEMCDOUGALL, who stepped up on previous efforts for this yard in a first-time visor when chasing home Oscars Moonshine at Hereford last month. A 2 lb rise looks very fair indeed given that the winner has gone in twice again since. The hat-trick seeking Del Duque remains open to improvement and is a much-respected main danger, while Millie of Mayo is best of the rest.

  2. DEL DUQUE (IRE)
  3. MILLIE OF MAYO
