Molliana^p⁷⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-11| J: T Scudamore| T: N P Mulholland| OR: 97

4/1

Off the mark on handicap bow in this sphere last March and subsequently racked up 6 wins on the Flat in Jersey. Third to a pair of improvers at Fontwell in August and she merits plenty of respect.

Form: 132/6-23

Kentford Mallard^p1⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-10| J: J McGrath| T: J W Mullins| OR: 96

12/1

Posted creditable fifth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (20.7f, soft) in March but go no further than the second after 7 months off when falling at Plumpton 8 days ago. Cheekpieces go on.

Form: 35465-F

Sue Be It^t²⁹⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 11-10| J: Adrian Heskin| T: Mrs N S Evans| OR: 96| D

50/1

Dual winner over timber in summer 2018. Not seen since finishing tailed off at Taunton in January and can only be watched for now.

Form: 1/52P50-

Timassini²²⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Adam Wedge| T: Evan Williams| OR: 95| BF| D

17/2

Off the mark at eleventh attempt in heavy-ground handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (15.8f) in March but pulled up at Uttoxeter 8 days later, reported to have an irregular heartbeat. Others make more appeal.

Form: 68531P-

Lady Kyria⁵⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: William Shanahan⁽⁷⁾| T: P A Kirby| OR: 93| D

13/2

Newcastle handicap winner in March 2019. Didn't really threaten to add to her tally in 5 hurdle starts last season but was caught too far back to land a blow at Perth 2 months ago. Needs more.

Form: P735-39

Fancy Shapes^h³⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Brendan Powell| T: M Scudamore| OR: 93

9/2

Placed on second of 2 starts in Irish points and showed much more following a wind op when third of 13 in novice hurdle at Newton Abbot (16.8f, good) 38 days ago. Improvement likely on handicap bow.

Form: P3/80-3

Krujers Girl⁵¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: Mitchell Bastyan⁽⁵⁾| T: J Farrelly| OR: 91

10/1

Modest maiden hurdler who might have needed the run when sixth at Fontwell on her first outing for this yard, though still left with a bit to prove.

Form: 7944/P-6

Puzzle Cache^p²⁴⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: David Noonan| T: C J Down| OR: 88

50/1

Poor in bumpers/modest maiden on the Flat. Well held over hurdles but showed first form when fifth at Exeter in January. Went backwards from that on handicap debut a month later and has moved yards.

Form: 70/7050-

Western Sunrise⁹⁶

Age: 11| Weight: 11-2| J: R P McLernon| T: J Farrelly| OR: 88

40/1

Winless last season but did hint at a revival when midfield at Warwick, having made the running. However, failed to complete after 9 months off at Uttoxteter when falling and can only be watched.

Form: 37666-F

Balladame⁴⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: James Bowen| T: T R George| OR: 87

9/2

Shaped promisingly in a pair of Ffos Las bumpers last summer but disappointing in 4 starts over hurdles. Makes handicap debut.

Form: 23779-7

Emmas Dilemma^t1²²⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-0| J: Max Kendrick⁽³⁾| T: H James| OR: 86

33/1

Fair hurdler at her best for Olly Murphy, but no real threat in 3 outings for new yard since returning from 18-month absence, albeit she did beat a few rivals at Hereford when last seen 7 months ago.

Form: 336/984-

Forecasts

Molliana (4/1), Balladame (9/2), Fancy Shapes (9/2), Brophies Doll (13/2), Lady Kyria (13/2), Timassini (17/2), Krujers Girl (10/1), Kentford Mallard (12/1), Emmas Dilemma (33/1), Western Sunrise (40/1), Puzzle Cache (50/1), Sue Be It (50/1)

FANCY SHAPES showed much more than previously following a wind operation when third on her return at Newton Abbot last month. She should come on from that, and can make her first start in handicaps a winning one with improvement anticipated. Molliana merits plenty of respect after a couple of recent placed efforts, while Brophies Doll holds each-way claims if ready to roll after 7 months off.
