Winning pointer who made a positive start when third in novice hurdles at Exeter and Doncaster last season but struggled at Southwell final start. Up in trip for handicap debut.
Gone a while since he gained his sole win over hurdles and what was presumably a spring/summer campaign had to be aborted after a fairly promising comeback at Doncaster. Not badly treated.
Fair in bumpers/over hurdles earlier in career. Has won 2 of his 3 starts in points since last seen under Rules and very interesting runner starting out in handicaps for excellent new yard.
Has done well since joining this yard, ending a losing run dating back almost 3 years at Perth (3m) 4 weeks ago under this rider. Up 8 lb but foolish to discount in her current form.
Scored twice last season, including under this good conditional, but his attitude has deteriorated and he once again turned it in when looking all over the winner at Huntingdon last week. Very risky.
Ended last season with a poor run at Warwick but had previously won there and at Ludlow. Same mark on return and might need it.
Fair form in 3 runs for Nick Williams last year but disappointed after a breathing op on return for new yard at Uttoxeter (20f), jumping poorly, and has since had further wind surgery. Handicap debut.
Lightly raced since his April 2018 Fontwell success, offering little for new trainer after 28 months off there 7 weeks ago.
Chased home Shishkin on his first go in bumpers and has a handicap like this in him judged on his 2 runner-up efforts, including at Fontwell on return 8 weeks ago (possibly stretched by 25.8f trip).
Winning hurdler but ended 2019/20 out of sorts and made an inauspicious start over fences after 7 months off at Ffos Las. Quickly back over the smaller obstacles. Headgear left off.
Was in top form in this sphere when last seen, winning at Plumpton (25f) and placed twice after. Might need the run on his return but he's likeable.
Fell a long way in the weights and capitalised under a good front-running ride to score over extended 21f at Fontwell in August. Just second in a poor race there (25.8f) since, though.

HUNTSMANS JOG is blatantly the most interesting runner here having won a couple of points since last seen under Rules for Don Cantillon when he'd been shaping up well. His handicap mark might be a lenient one and the hint should be taken if he's backed for his red-hot new trainer. Big Penny is in top form and respected again, while Board of Trade isn't on a bad mark on his return.
