Galileo colt. Brother to several winners, notably Derby hero Serpentine. Stable in good form and exciting pedigree so newcomer is most interesting.

Forecasts

Mcpherson (6/4), Roman Empire (5/2), King Of The Castle (4/1), Artistic Work (5/1), Devious Dreamer (16/1), New Appointment (18/1), Rave N Contagion (25/1), Captain Rock (66/1), Princess Mead (150/1), Bullock Park (200/1)

Verdict

KING OF THE CASTLE is the sole newcomer in the field but this brother to Derby winner Serpentine is fancied to make a winning start for the in-form Aidan O'Brien team. McPherson rates the biggest threat on the back of his promising debut fourth at the Curragh, although the selection's stable companion Roman Empire could also have a say on his return from a break.

  2. MCPHERSON
  3. ROMAN EMPIRE (IRE)
