Classy hurdler who resuming winning ways in a Grade 2 at Haydock in January and was far from disgraced in the Champion Hurdle when last seen. Warrants respect back in handicap company for return.

High-class chaser who has come up a little short at the top level but looks potentially well in reverting to hurdling for this return from 7 months off. One to consider.

Terrific effort when a close third in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury (16.3f, good) in February. Conditions no problem and claims if ready to roll following an 8-month break.

High-level bumper performer who made a fine start to his hurdling career last term, winning 3 times. Underwhelming in Betfair Hurdle at Newbury when last seen but could be more to come this season.

Fairly useful bumper winner who enhanced his progressive profile over hurdles when easing to victory in a C&D minor event recently. Handicapper has had a say subsequently, but may do better still.

Highly progressive in 3 runs over hurdles last season, winning handicaps at Bangor and Market Rasen (readily, 9 months ago). Handicapper has taken no chances but he's open to more improvement.

Rapid progress last season, still in a share of the lead when exiting at the last in the Betfair Hurdle in February. Shaped well on the Flat last month and looks a player.

Useful on Flat and easy winner of his first 2 outings over hurdles. Disappointing in Dovecote at Kempton on final outing but no surprise if he resumes progress on return.

Made winning hurdles debut at Kelso last December prior to going close in 2m novice at Chepstow the following month. Struggled in Grade 1 company at the Cheltenham Festival but this is more realistic.

Verdict

BUZZ disappointed on his final outing last season but he'd looked an excellent prospect prior to that, so he's worth a chance to get back to winning ways despite returning in a fiercely-competitive event. Ballyandy has to be considered dropping back in grade and Milkwood is another player on the back of an easy reappearance win over C&D.
