Verdict

JANUS is hard to oppose given he's a fair winner on the level and caught the eye back over hurdles when a tenderly-handled fourth at Newton Abbot in a stronger race than this. Stable companion Songo seems sure to step forward from his encouraging Huntington fourth so looks the one to chase him home. Dual Flat AW winner The Eagle's Nest is also respected back hurdling now.
