5/1, eighth of 13 in minor event at York (5.4f, good) on debut 37 days ago. In good hands and likely to leave that form well behind in time.
Promising type. Second of 10 in minor event (9/2) at Kempton (7f) 20 days ago. Good chance of going one better here.
Foaled February 4. 200,000 gns yearling, Pivotal colt. Likely type on paper and very much one to note in the betting.
Seventh of 11 in minor event at Thirsk (7f, good to soft, 14/1) on debut 39 days ago, left poorly placed. Best to look elsewhere.
Twice-raced maiden. Fourth of 11 in minor event at this C&D (7/1) 40 days ago. Needs to raise his game.
Foaled April 18. 800 gns yearling, Pearl Secret gelding. Dam, 5f winner, half-sister to useful 7f-1m winner (stayed 1¼m) Black Cherry out of useful 6f-7f winner Arctic Char. Likely to need the run.
Tongue strap on, last of 13 in minor event at Chelmsford City (7f, 12/1) on debut 33 days ago. Likely to need more time.
Fifth of 8 in maiden (7/2) at Pontefract (6f, heavy) on debut 19 days ago. Will be more street-wise this time but an unlikely winner all the same.
Foaled February 10. €48,000 foal, 26,000 gns yearling. Half-brother to useful 6f winner Lady Dancealot. Dam twice-raced half-sister to smart 2-y-o 5f winner Light The Rocket. Market check advised.
Twice-raced maiden. 33/1, ninth of 12 in minor event at Redcar (5f, good to firm) 28 days ago, not knocked about. Will be of greater interest in handicaps further down the line.
Ninth of 10 in maiden (50/1) at this course (7.1f) on debut 15 days ago. Hard to warm to on the back of that introduction.
Once-raced maiden. Fourth of 7 in minor event (50/1) at Beverley (5f, good) on debut 27 days ago. Big step forward needed.
Twice-raced maiden. Fifth of 12 in minor event at Redcar (6f, heavy, 40/1) 45 days ago, well positioned. Another who may do better in handicaps in due course.
Foaled March 16. Lethal Force filly. Half-sister to a winner abroad by Monsieur Bond. Dam unraced. Yard is hardly synonymous with winning 2-y-o newcomers.

Forecasts
Cotai Bear (7/4), Batraan (3/1), One Over Par (6/1), Main Target (15/2), Stonegarth (17/2), Smeaton's Light (11/1), Maison de York (20/1), Secret Eagle (25/1), Sir Taweel (50/1), Thornaby Pearl (50/1), Stockingfiller (50/1), Sheila's Legacy (50/1), Sugar Angel (100/1), Available Angel (150/1)
A chance is taken on MAIN TARGET, who makes plenty of appeal on paper and his yard is no stranger to success with newcomers. Needless to say, it will be a good sign if there's confidence behind him in the betting. Cotai Bear sets the clear standard on form following his near miss at Kempton and is greatly respected, while Batraan can be expected to step up on his low-key York debut.
