Hugely impressive winner of a 7f novice on debut at Ascot last month, making all for 4l win. It was backed up by a solid timefigure, so he is a colt to be positive about.
Sprang a surprise when winning a 6f maiden at Windsor at 100/1. Has seemingly had his limitations exposed in two subsequent starts, however, so others are preferred here.
3.1 million guineas purchase who landed 7f maiden here on the July course and built on that when 2nd in a 7f listed race at Newbury. Will stay 1m so much respected with further progress on the cards.
Built on debut promise when landing the odds over 1m in Doncaster maiden last month. Well-bred son of Frankel has more to offer so he's one for the shortlist.
Shaped with plenty of promise before easily getting off the mark in a 1m novice at Sandown last month. He looks an interesting prospect for middle-distances next season but can go well here too.
Made eye-catching winning debut in 1m novice here on the July course but not seen to best effect on two subsequent starts at Kempton and Newbury. He remains with potential so shouldn't be dismissed.
Looked smart prospect when taking 7f Sandown maiden in a good time but he could finish only third behind New Mandate in a 7f listed race at Doncaster last month. May yet do better upped to 1m now.
Made excellent start when 4l winner of 6f Newbury novice before runner-up in Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. Has failed to build on that, only third in Tattersall Stakes here last time. Bit to find.
Comfortably landed 7f maiden at the Curragh last time. Had previously finished second in Group 2 Champions Juvenile Stakes over 1m at Leopardstown, and that form sets the standard so good claims.
Stoutly-bred colt who relished the emphasis on stamina when landing a 7f minor event on easy ground at Haydock in July. Has failed to build on that subsequently, however, and difficult to fancy here.

Forecasts
Van Gogh (9/2), Maximal (9/2), One Ruler (5/1), Latest Generation (5/1), Megallan (15/2), Akmaam (8/1), Dhahabi (9/1), Qaader (14/1), William Bligh (25/1), Albadri (50/1)
Very soft ground would be a concern for VAN GOGH but he does act with ease underfoot and certainly has the strongest form on offer, so he looks the percentage call in an intriguing race. Charlie Appleby's pair One Ruler and Dhahabi are both sure to make their presence felt now they step up to 1m, while Megallan shouldn't be underestimated either with a good test of stamina on the cards for him.
