Returned to form when third in a C&D event 12 months ago and likely first run for 11 months was needed at Perth (3m) in September, albeit not testing stamina enough in any case. This more suitable.

Forecasts

Sultans Pride (2/1), Florrie Knox (9/2), Court Baloo (8/1), Skipthescales (17/2), Henrietta Bell (10/1), Lough Derg Jewel (12/1), Little Bruce (14/1), Anteros (16/1), Rivabodiva (16/1), Strike West (16/1), Ryedale Racer (28/1), Teme Spirit (33/1), Whitley Neill (100/1)

Verdict

A wide-open handicap with a chance taken on SKIPTHESCALES. He didn't threaten on return over fences here last month but ended last season with a solid second from this sort of mark over hurdles and he may well show the benefit of his recent run here. Rivabodiva is also interesting with a reappearance spin under her belt, along with Henrietta Bell and Sultans Pride.
