Maiden hurdler who caused a shock to make a winning chase bow in a C&D novice 12 months ago (on back of a wind op). Didn't kick on thereafter but it remains early days ahead of return. Visored.
Back to form to land a muddling 6-runner handicap chase at Southwell (3m) in spring 2019. Feasible to think first run for 17 months was needed over hurdles at Bangor in September and not discounted.
Dual scorer over fences (good/good to firm) for Emma Lavelle. Ended time with Dan Skelton with a second over hurdles at Newton Abbot but has made an unpromising start for new yard.
Chase/hurdles winner who was easy to back and shaped as if needing first start for 15 months over hurdles at Perth (3m) in September. Entitled to be sharper back over larger obstacles.
Hurdles/dual chase winner earlier in career but disappointed in handful of starts last term and a break needs to have perked him up.
3-time C&D winner but ended last season out of form and he again offered little returning from 8 months off back here at the start of last month. Is at least below last winning mark.
Little impact in 2 starts over fences at the beginning of the year and similar story over hurdles in recent weeks. However, fitness shouldn't be an issue and the assessor has afforded him a chance.
Successful twice at Ayr (3m) during 2017/18 campaign and best effort for some time when second at Wetherby (3m, heavy) back in March. Decent showing not ruled out on return.
Won back-to-back handicap chase events during 2018/19 season, the first of them coming over C&D. More miss than hit last term though, and he remains above last winning mark on return.
Improved to spring 40/1 surprise in C&D handicap last month and dispelled a lesser effort when runner-up back here 8 days ago. Clearly well suited by demands of this track and claims on that basis.

Costly Dream (11/4), Absolutely Dylan (11/2), Smuggler's Stash (11/2), Nortonthorpelegend (6/1), Loch Linnhe (7/1), Buddha Scheme (17/2), Ash Park (17/2), Always Tipsy (12/1), Classical Milano (16/1), Spinning Scooter (18/1), Mcginty's Dream (20/1), Set List (25/1)
NORTONTHORPELEGEND has twice performed with credit in C&D handicaps upon returning to action in recent weeks, and with his yard amongst the winners, he gets the nod to come out on top. Costly Dream has been acquitting himself with credit around here of late and is feared, along with Always Tipsy and Loch Linnhe.
