Lightly-raced hurdler who was awarded 19f Carlisle maiden on final start last season. Off 6 months/had breathing op and straight into handicaps on chase debut so interesting contender.
Signed off for last season with career-best win in 20f novice hurdle at Musselburgh. Much respected on handicap chase debut despite 7-month absence to overcome.
Fairly useful hurdler who posted creditable second in handicap at Kelso (22.7f, heavy) 7 months ago. Into handicaps for her chase debut so another worth considering.
Fairly useful 23f winner over hurdles but (9/1) pulled up in handicap chase at Stratford (22.6f, heavy) 52 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
Fair maiden hurdler. Off 8 months and now makes fencing bow so not dismissed for leading yard.
Lightly-raced maiden. 14/1, modest fifth of 7 in novice at Ayr (24.3f, heavy) 8 months ago. Needs to show more now he goes over fences.
Lightly-raced maiden hurdler but off course for over 2 years. Makes chase debut now with her fitness a big concern.
Fairly useful winning hurdler last season but has shown little in two runs this term. Goes chasing now and needs a big step forward.
Winner over hurdles at Newcastle in January and signed off for season with good second in 20f handicap at Newcastle 7 months ago. Straight into handicaps over fences now and worth a close look.
Ended last season with success in 17f handicap hurdle at Carlisle. Off 6 months but another on the shortlist for his debut over fences.
Low-mileage 5-y-o who arrives on back of good second of 12 in handicap chase (5/1) at Cartmel (25.5f, good to soft) 64 days ago. Back down in trip and sure to go well again.
In the frame all four runs over hurdles, runner-up in 26f Kelso handicap in March. Goes handicapping over fences now and not dismised for in-form yard.

Forecasts
The Ferry Master (4/1), Glorious Lady (9/2), Whateva Next (6/1), El Kaldoun (13/2), Bluefortytwo (8/1), Kauto D'Amour (8/1), The Delray Munky (14/1), Western Aussie (14/1), Victarion (16/1), Scottish Accent (18/1), Toi Storey (18/1), Hills Of Connemara (80/1)
Only two of these have run over fences before so the market could prove very informative but Sandy Thomson does well with his chasers and THE FERRY MASTER looks a likely sort to step forward pitched straight into handicaps for his fencing bow. Fellow chasing debutant El Kaldoun is greatly respected for Nicky Henderson, while Whateva Next can put his experience to good use and claim a place.
