Well-bred filly who wasn't beaten far when sixth of 12 on debut at Newcastle (7.1f) a fortnight ago. Clearly thought capable of better (sent off favourite for that race) and improvement on the cards.

Foaled May 14. 60,000 gns yearling, Golden Horn filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including Oaks d'Italia winner Auyantepui. One to note in the betting for top yard, which also saddles Hamhama.

Foaled April 9. 160,000 gns yearling. Half-sister to smart 2-y-o 5f-7f winner Threat. Dam lightly raced out of classy 8.5f-10.5f winner Shiva. Lots to like on paper and market should point the way.

Foaled February 16. Dam, 1m-1¼m winner, half-sister to very smart winner up to 1½m Move Up out of smart winner up to 11f (2-y-o 6f winner) Rosinka. Yard newcomers usually come on for a run.

Stepped up on debut when third in a 15-runner C&D maiden recently, doing all her best work at the finish. Stiffer test would probably be ideal but she's a key player nonetheless.

Foaled March 11. Shamardal filly. Half-sister to 7f/1m winner Nonchalance. Newcomers from this powerful yard always command respect, and confidence behind her in the betting would look significant.

Foaled February 26. £32,000 yearling. Half-sister to useful 5f winner Rayong. Dam 2-y-o 5f winner. Yard isn't a frequent source of winning newcomers and she'll probably come on for the run.

Foaled January 22. Dawn Approach filly. Half-sister to several winners, including useful 10.3f winner Space Ship and winner up to 9f Sky Ship. Interesting to see what the market has to say.

Foaled January 31. Gleneagles filly. Dam, winner up to 1m (2-y-o 6f winner), half-sister to smart 6f winner Alphabet. The betting should offer clues with regard to expectations.

Sent off at 50/1 and trailed in last of 10 in recent Haydock debut (8.2f, good). Probably more of a long-term prospect.

Several of the newcomers are pretty appealing on paper but NEBULOSA and Brunnera may be able to put their experience to good use. The former finished well when third over C&D and the forecast slower ground could help given that she already looks in need of a stiffer test. Romantic Song could be the pick of the debutantes but the Gosden fillies Coloratura Soprano and Hamhama also command respect.
