Promising sort. 5/4, won 11-runner minor event at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) in June. Absent since but she remains open to improvement and will be a danger to all if taking to this surface.

Foaled March 3. €52,000 foal, £4,200 2-y-o, Showcasing colt. Dam winner up to 7f (2-y-o 6f winner) out of useful 7f winner Desert Alchemy. Yard's newcomers typically come on for a run.

Promising type. Second of 8 in maiden (7/1) at Haydock (6f, good) on debut 13 days ago, slowly away. Improvement anticipated and should make a bold bid to go one better here.

Foaled April 24. €65,000 foal, 70,000 gns yearling. Dam maiden half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Kitty Kiernan out of useful 6f winner Alstemeria. Koepp is presumably the stable first-string.

Twice-raced maiden. Eighth of 12 in maiden at Ascot (7f, good, 33/1) 34 days ago. Probably more one for handicaps further down the line.

3/1, fifth of 10 in minor event at Windsor (5.1f, good to firm) on debut 87 days ago. Should be more street-wise this time and better can be expected.

Forecasts

Koepp (6/5), She Do (7/4), Creedmoor (15/2), Pontius (10/1), The Whipmaster (22/1), Cousins Joy (33/1), Galaticus (50/1)

Verdict

KOEPP was arguably unlucky not to make a winning debut at Haydock recently and, with improvement on the cards, he gets the nod. She Do saw off a couple of subsequent winners at Doncaster when last seen in June and is a much-respected main danger, while Creedmoor's Windsor introduction was certainly not devoid of promise and this well-bred filly is surely capable of a good deal better.

  1. KOEPP
  2. SHE DO
  3. CREEDMOOR
