11/2 and upped markedly in trip, career best when winning 7-runner handicap at Pontefract (17.1f, good) 10 days ago, forging clear. Expected to be bang there with further progress expected.

Course winner here in July. Ran badly in his hat-trick attempt when last of 12 in handicap at Chester (14.4f, good, 6/1) 44 days ago, no response when ridden under 3f out. Merits consideration.
Course winner here in August. 14/1, creditable seventh of 14 in handicap at Ayr (13.1f, soft) 10 days ago. Chance if rediscovering old form.
Unreliable sort. Latest win at Beverley in June. 25/1, eighth of 10 in handicap at Newcastle (12.4f) 19 days ago, slowly away. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
Course winner. 40/1, again well below form when twelfth of 14 in handicap at Ayr (13.1f, soft) 10 days ago.
Latest win at Ayr in July. Last of 10 in handicap (33/1) at this C&D (good) 21 days ago. Blinkers back on. Others more persuasive.
2 wins from 5 runs this year. Evens, career best when winning 12-runner handicap at Redcar (14f, good to firm) 12 days ago, leading under 2f out. Only 4 lb higher so will surely go close again.
Turned in his best effort of the season when second of 9 in handicap at Hamilton (11.1f, good to soft, 20/1) 26 days ago, keeping on well but headed last ½f. Up in trip.
Lightly-raced maiden. 40/1, got back on track on second handicap start when third of 9 in handicap at Thirsk (12f, good) 13 days ago, well positioned. Others preferred for win purposes.
Lightly-raced maiden. Again progressed when 1¼ lengths second of 13 to Roman's Empress in handicap (8/1) at this course (12.5f, good) 21 days ago.
Career best when winning 13-runner handicap at this course (12.5f, good, 16/1) 21 days ago by 1¼ lengths from Spycracker, well positioned in a weak affair. 5 lb rise makes it tougher.

Forecasts
Ben Lilly (13/8), Good View (7/2), Araka Li (15/2), Spycracker (17/2), Three Castles (12/1), Hajey (12/1), Roman's Empress (12/1), Madeeh (22/1), Zabeel Star (25/1), Maulesden May (33/1), Ezanak (80/1)
GOOD VIEW showed much improved form to get off the mark on just her second start for David O'Meara at Pontefract last time, patiently ridden and forging clear late on. She clearly possesses deep reserves of stamina, and is taken to follow up here with the promise of more to come. Ben Lilly is thriving at present and rates as the main threat after his recent wins, ahead of Madeeh.
