Enjoyed productive 2019 campaign, successful at Ripon and also over hurdles at Chepstow. Looked rusty on return at Chester earlier this month (also left poorly placed) and should step up on that here.
First run since leaving David Lanigan when 100/1 winner of a handicap at York over 11.9f in July and got back on the up to score there in a 19-runner similar event 3 weeks ago. Player again.
Bolted up in small-field event at Ascot in July but didn't see things out as well as might have been expected in strong Goodwood handicap later in the month. Needs to bounce back.
Much improved in a tongue tie/after a gelding operation, progressing plenty from his return when bolting up by 15 lengths on his turf debut at Hamilton early this month. More to come on handicap bow.
Winner at Winsdor in June who has continued in good form, running his best race when scoring there again earlier this month. Sure to give another good account up 4 lb.
Improved to win 15-runner handicap here (10.2f, good) in August and ran very well when runner-up at Sandown 10 days ago, sticking to the task well. Must improve to feature but that's not ruled out.
Showed improved form to get off the mark on handicap debut at Sandown last month, coping well with the drop in trip but still strong at the finish. Should give a good account again.

Hugo Palmer's DOUBLING DICE couldn't have been any more impressive when bolting up by 15 lengths on his turf debut at Hamilton earlier this month. He looks a smart prospect, and gets the vote to make a winning start in handicaps with the promise of better to come. Mr Carpenter has made a bright start for Tim Easterby and he looks sure to go well again, along with Tindrum and Carlos Felix.
