All Yours²³

Age: 9| Weight: 10-0| J: A Kirby| T: S Curran| OR: 93| D

33/1

Capable of useful form on the flat, adding a fourth Kempton success over 2m to his tally in February. Not really seen to best effect over hurdles of late and the drop back in trip will hold no fears.

Form: 163-152

Fox Vardy²¹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-13| J: S De Sousa| T: M Meade| OR: 92| BF| D

7/4

Wide-margin winner of a handicap at Newmarekt on return in June. Emerged with credit at York and Ascot and easy to forgive latest run on the July course. Back down in trip.

Form: 29-1335

Petite Jack^p²⁰⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 9-10| J: Rossa Ryan| T: R A Teal| OR: 89| D

40/1

In good form on AW earlier this year, scoring at Lingfield (12f) prior to a Jumpers' bumper success at Wolverhampton in February (final start for Neil King). Effective on turf but not most consistent.

Form: 963-413

(4)

Cardano¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: W Buick| T: Ian Williams| OR: 88

4/1

Progressive during 2019, winning 4 times and signed off with good fifth in Old Rowley Cup (12f). Solid enough return at Sandown (10f) and the return to 1½m may bring about further progress as a 4-y-o.

Form: 32145-2

(1)

Tonyx¹⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 9-6| J: David Probert| T: E Walker| OR: 85

7/1

Landed both starts in novice events at around 10f as a 3-y-o. Improved on back of reappearance spin and caught the eye both starts since with a view to tackling 1½m. Interesting.

Form: 11-654

(5)

Natty Night¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-1| J: M Dwyer| T: W R Muir| OR: 80| D

3/1

Showed a fine attitude to double career tally at Newmarket (12f) last month, rallying well to regain the lead close home. Respectable fifth at Ascot since and expected to give it another good go.

Form: 52-2715

(3)

Union¹²

Age: 3| Weight: 8-8| J: David Egan| T: R Varian| OR: 80

15/2

Not in top form of late, making effort over 2f out but never dangerous when finishing sixth of 7 at Leicester (11.8f) 12 days ago. Handicapper is slowly relinquishing his grip at least.

Form: 262456

Forecasts

Fox Vardy (7/4), Natty Night (3/1), Cardano (4/1), Tonyx (7/1), Union (15/2), All Yours (33/1), Petite Jack (40/1)

A dual winner as a 3-y-o, TONYX has shaped well with a view to stepping up to 1½m in recent weeks and was undone by being held up in a steadily-run race at Haydock (10f) last time. She gets the vote to prove as much here, with Fox Vardy (no longer engaged here Friday) and Cardano others to consider.
