C&D winner who wasn't at his best back on the all-weather when eight of 11 at Chelmsford City (5f) 13 days ago, though not preserved with once held.
Found another jolt of improvement to get off the mark in 5f Lingfield maiden in August. Shaped as if still in top form on Chelmsford handicap bow since so has to be worth another chance to progress.
Fourteen runs since last win in 2019 but wasn't seen to best effect when fifth of 8 in handicap at this C&D (good, 12/1) last week, having met some trouble.
Didn't need to improve to get off the mark in a weak novice at Catterick (5f) in August and predictably found life tougher when fourth on Kempton handicap/all-weather debut next time. Needs more.
Quirky sort who found a bit of improvement to resume winning ways in 12-runner contest at Bath (5f, good) 2 weeks ago, though did enjoy a dream trip. Nudged up 4 lb.
Improved again to edge out an in-form veteran in 9-runner handicap at Goodwood (5f, heavy) 19 days ago, just holding on. Still lightly raced, so further progress can't be ruled out.
Handed a stiff opening mark and failed to improve in first-time cheekpieces when 4½ lengths last of 5 to Sur Mer in handicap at Windsor (5.1f, heavy) 18 days ago. Has plenty to find.

Veleta (11/4), Sur Mer (3/1), Summit Fever (10/3), Saras Hope (10/3), Shoot To Kill (5/1), Vitare (11/2), Enthaar (8/1), Pink Flamingo (9/1), Final Deal (28/1)
SUMMIT FEVER was left poorly placed from a bad draw at Chelmsford 13 days ago but he shaped as if still in top form, so has to be worth another chance to progress from a mark that looks more than fair. Shoot To Kill was also unlucky not to finish closer at Doncaster last week, so he's considered a big threat, along with the improving Saras Hope.
- SUMMIT FEVER
- SHOOT TO KILL (IRE)
- SARAS HOPE
