C&D winner. Again ran poorly when tenth of 11 in handicap (11/1) at Doncaster (6f, good to firm) 47 days ago, reportedly finishing lame.
3-time C&D winner. Latest win at Kempton in June. Well held after 6 weeks off when tenth of 11 in handicap at Yarmouth (7f, good to soft, 18/1) 16 days ago.
Notched a pair of AW wins over the winter but hasn't been at his very best since the resumption. Eyeshields back on. Engaged 2.40 Doncaster Wednesday.
3-time C&D winner. Latest win at Doncaster in August. Creditable second of 11 in handicap (11/2) at Wolverhampton (7.2f) 8 days ago, finishing well. Expected to be bang there.
Latest win at Salisbury in August. Bit below form under a penalty when fifth of 10 in handicap (11/4) at Goodwood (7f, soft) 13 days ago. May struggle once again.
Course winner. Latest win at Sandown in July. 6/1, ran another solid race when third of 11 in handicap there (7f, good to firm) 39 days ago. Each-way claims.
Winner at Doncaster in August. Not in same form when fifth of 11 in handicap at Sandown (7f, good, 9/4) 19 days ago, reportedly struck into and losing a shoe. Merits consideration.
2/1, showed more than on debut when third of 8 in maiden at Kempton (7f). Tongue strap on 1st time. Makes handicap debut after 6 months off. May well do better.
Winless for Mick Channon at 2yrs and ran best race yet on second start for new yard when runner-up at Haydock (7f) last month. Efforts either side disappointing.
Possibly still needed the run when sixth of 11 in handicap at this course (6f, 10/1) 19 days ago. Can give a good account.

Forecasts
Harbour Vision (5/2), Old News (5/1), Rondo (5/1), Gold Zabeel (11/2), Colonel Whitehead (13/2), Broughtons Flare (13/2), Incognito (11/1), Robero (12/1), Smoke On The Water (12/1), Queen's Course (14/1), Sonnet Rose (40/1), Sword Exceed (50/1)
David Brown's HARBOUR VISION gets the nod to come out on top in what looks a competitive finale. The cheekpieces have clearly had the desired effect on his last 2 outings and a mark of 73 certainly doesn't look beyond him judged on his most recent runner-up effort. Queen's Course had excuses for her below-par effort last time so gets the vote for second, ahead of Gold Zabeel.
