Fair maiden hurdler/chaser with a bit of a hit-and-miss profile. Good second over fences at Doncaster in February but disappointed at Huntingdon the following month. Off since.
Gained some reward for his consistency with a belated first success in a handicap chase at Wincanton last autumn. Creditable third at Uttoxeter in July but below-form fourth back there since.
Dual C&D scorer. Point winner in January. Third in handicap hurdle/chase since returning to Rules, shaping better than result (did too much too soon) at Uttoxeter latterly. Interesting.
Back to winning ways in conditionals handicap chase at Wincanton last autumn. Respectable fourth at Southwell on reappearance and could be sharper with that under his belt.
Has posted a couple of creditable placed efforts since resumption, latterly when third over 21f here. Respected under Connor Brace.
Dual winner in points. Encouraging second of 8 in handicap chase at Ffos Las (19.5f, heavy) in January but needs to shrug off disappointing run on last month's course reappearance. Tongue tie added.
Maiden over hurdles but opened his account at the second attempt over fences when dead-heating at Lingfield (heavy) in January. Pulled up at Exeter the following month and not seen since.
Maiden but was having just his second chase start when runner-up at Uttoxeter (22.5f) on reappearance. Step back up in trip ought to suit and remains relatively unexposed.
Irish-point winner but yet to show anything under Rules, including a handicap chase (jumped poorly) last time. First-time visor needs to have a positive effect.
One-time fair chaser for Henry de Bromhead but seems to retain little ability, pulling up at Plumpton when last seen in March. Visored first time on return.
Offered little over hurdles last term but this point winner has shown more encouraging signs since chasing, third on 21f course return and set to be placed again when falling 3 out at Southwell.
Forecasts
The Late Legend (4/1), Hurricane Arcadio (4/1), Midnight Magic (9/2), Imperial Nemesis (9/2), Jack Snipe (5/1), Love The Leader (12/1), Inspireus (14/1), Bluebell Sally (18/1), Rivers End (33/1), Robin Of Sherwood (33/1), Hurry Henry (200/1)
JACK SNIPE went off a bit hard at Uttoxeter last month, shaping better than the result, and gets the nod at a venue where he's enjoyed success before. Hurricane Arcadio has posted a couple of creditable efforts since resumption and ought to figure again, while Bluebell Sally could also have a part to play if none the worse for a late spill at Southwell last time.
- JACK SNIPE
- HURRICANE ARCADIO (IRE)
- BLUEBELL SALLY (IRE)
