Smart handicapper whose standout performance came when easy winner over this C&D in July. Unable to make an impact off revised mark at York (behind Top Rank) since and bit to find on balance.

Lightly raced but very progressive, taking form to another level when easy winner of Thirsk handicap on return. Good third at York since despite not seen to best effect. Worth a shot at this level.

Looked a sure-fire pattern race winner when taking Britannia at Royal Ascot in seriously impressive fashion on return. Excuses upped to this level at Goodwood since and well worth another chance.

Most impressive when making a winning debut at Newmarket last autumn. Highly tried in 3 Group 1s since, 5½ lengths eighth of 11 to Pinatubo in Prix Jean Prat at Deauville latest. Back down in class.

Highly-progressive 3-y-o who confirmed debut promise when easily landing odds in novice at York. Would have gone close but for serious interference in Group 3 at Goodwood since and remains unexposed.

Forecasts

Khaloosy (6/4), Top Rank (11/2), My Oberon (11/2), Stormy Antarctic (11/2), Kinross (15/2), Dark Vision (8/1), Qaysar (11/1), Graignes (25/1)

Verdict

KHALOOSY looked a most exciting prospect when dismissing his rivals in the Britannia and is well worth another chance at this level having had excuses at Goodwood. Stormy Antarctic looked back to his best when runner-up in a Group 1 in France and is a big player on that form, while My Oberon finished in front of the selection at Goodwood and would have gone close to winning but for interference.
