Sets the clear standard on a brace of runner-up efforts over 5f in June. Disappointing display at Lingfield last time for all that race has worked out better than may have been expected.

Forecasts

Muay Thai (10/3), Lockdown (10/3), George Scott (9/2), Prince Of Abington (13/2), Stigwood (7/1), Ballyconneely Bay (9/1), Solid Gold (14/1), Fangorn (14/1), Letmelivemylife (14/1)

Verdict

GEORGE SCOTT finished with running left when a very promising fifth on debut at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago and he could easily take a big jump forward and improve beyond Lockdown, who isn't progressing. Muay Thai is a newcomer to note with his sales price increasing earlier this year.

  1. GEORGE SCOTT (IRE)
  2. LOCKDOWN
  3. MUAY THAI (IRE)
