Career best when winning 8-runner handicap at Ayr (13.1f, good to firm, 6/1) 36 days ago, just holding on. Up just 2 lb but may prove vulnerable to less exposed types.
12/1, eighth of 9 in handicap at this course (13.9f, good to firm) 21 days ago. This drop back in trip may help and claims if reproducing form of reappearance third to Nataleena at Redcar in June.
Fourteen runs since last win in 2017. Eleventh of 13 in handicap at Haydock (16.2f, firm, 100/1) 61 days ago. Back down in trip. Hard to make a case for judged on this season's form.
Fourth of 10 in minor event (18/1) at Newbury (10f, good) 48 days ago, nearest finish. Appears to be improving with experience and further progress likely now upped in trip for this handicap debut.
11/1, first run since leaving J. S. Bolger when tenth of 12 in handicap at Pontefract (10f, good) 71 days ago. Plenty to prove at present.
Thrice-raced maiden. Fourth of 7 in handicap at York (10.2f, good to firm, 6/1) 31 days ago. Eased 3 lb and claims if stamina holds out now pitched into a lower-grade handicap.
Winner at Ripon in July. Last of 11 in handicap at Wolverhampton (14f, 4/1) 30 days ago, folding tamely. Presumably wasn't 100% on that occasion but she does have a point to prove now.
Lightly-raced maiden. Bit below form sixth of 13 in handicap (7/1) at Beverley (9.9f, good) 39 days ago. Pedigree augurs well with regard to this new trip and she's open to improvement.
80/1, seventh of 9 in minor event at Newcastle (10.2f) 23 days ago, not knocked about. Good pedigree and she may well take a step forward now pitched into a handicap off a lowly opening mark.
Below form sixth of 11 in handicap (12/1) at Hamilton (12.1f, good to soft) 12 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Cheekpieces on 1st time.

Forecasts
Golden Hind (5/2), Deft (3/1), Lady Scatterley (11/2), Maulesden May (6/1), Cold Light Of Day (17/2), Fiveandtwenty (9/1), Nataleena (11/1), A Touch Of Luck (16/1), Convivial (16/1), Lady Camelot (20/1), Epaneema (66/1)
The most interesting candidates are DEFT and A Touch of Luck, both of whom are open to improvement now handicapping. The latter is tempting off a potentially lenient opening mark, but Deft is preferred on the back of her promising effort in a decent race at Newbury where she shaped as though this stiffer test would be right up her street. Cold Light of Day and Golden Hind are others to consider.
- DEFT
- A TOUCH OF LUCK (GER)
- COLD LIGHT OF DAY
