C&D winner who arrives on back of good second in handicap at Newcastle (8f) 167 days ago on final run for Tristan Davidson. Rejoined former yard now and firmly in the mix if back fully tuned up.
Course winner but not at best of late, last of 3 in handicap at Ripon (12f) 8 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
40/1, first run since leaving Tim Easterby when below-par eighth of 10 in handicap at Haydock (8f) 16 days ago. Up in trip but others more persuasive.
Fair efforts first two starts on AW but (80/1) only ninth of 10 in handicap at Haydock (11.6f, soft) 52 days ago. Others have achieved more.
Lightly-raced maiden. First run since leaving Ralph Beckett when last of 12 in handicap (5/1) at Newcastle (8f) 84 days ago. Back up in trip and hood on with plenty to prove.
Proving hit and miss since the restart, and only eleventh of 14 in handicap (16/1) at Catterick (12.1f, good to soft) 7 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Resumed with 10f handicap win at Leicester in June and has continued in good form, third of 12 in handicap (15/2) at Redcar (10f) 28 days ago. Must enter calculations.
Only one win from 21 runs but caught eye when seventh of 13 in handicap at Doncaster (10.2f) 9 days ago, going on well at finish. Cheekpieces on now and well worth considering off handy mark.
Fair maiden who arrives on back of good fourth of 7 in handicap (28/1) at Doncaster (10.2f) 9 days ago. Cheekpieces fitted and one for the shortlist.
Landed back-to-back 1m handicaps on return and good second of 10 in handicap at Pontefract (8f) last time when suffering poor run. Should prove effective over 10f so firmly in the frame.
Stepped up on debut fifth when tenderly-handled fourth of 11 in maiden (100/1) at Hamilton (9.2f, good to soft) 11 days ago. Goes handicapping now off decent mark so interesting contender.
Sole win came on AW last August and yet to make the frame since the restart, fifth of 12 in handicap at Redcar (10f) last time. Needs to find more.

Forecasts
Little Ted (4/1), Paddyplex (5/1), Motahassen (5/1), Firlinfeu (6/1), Greengage (15/2), Royal Shaheen (8/1), Bringitonboris (17/2), Four Kingdoms (12/1), Hooroo (12/1), Spantik (16/1), Key Spirit (16/1), Flames Of York (20/1), Ghayyar (33/1), Heavenly Tale (50/1)
A case can be made for a few here but at the likely odds FIRLINFEU could be worth siding with as he has slipped to a very lenient mark and caught the eye at Doncaster last time when doing good late work. Key Spirit is much less exposed and seems sure to step forward now handicapping so rates the chief threat, although in-form Motahassen is well worth considering too.
- FIRLINFEU
- KEY SPIRIT
- MOTAHASSEN (IRE)
