Verdict

BARBADOS confirmed himself a smart stayer when finishing second in the Vintage Crop Stakes at the Curragh back in June. He's only had a couple of outings for his new yard, and is taken to double his tally at the expense of his former trainer's representative Keats. The further step up in trip is a slight worry but Aidan O'Brien's charge rates a threat nevertheless, ahead of Tasalka.
