Veteran and multiple winner from 1m2f-1m6f, though all on a sound or fast surface. Won here a couple of years ago, and is competitively handicapped, especially with 7lb claimed, but conditions are a concern.
0-16, though the one time he made the frame on turf came on soft (1m1f) at Carlisle last year. 2lb lower than that mark today, but tries over this far suggest he has a stamina doubt.
Well beaten on her sole run for Michael Bell and it's been the same story in two maidens since she joined this trainer. Step up in trip now leaves her also with stamina, as well as ability, to prove.
His soft ground Pontefract win (1m) in 2017 remains his sole success from 25 starts. Respectable effort here (1m1f) last time. 1lb drop opens the door to him finishing a bit closer, but there are surely stamina doubts where he is concerned.
Broke her duck in this code at the 14th attempt here (1m1f, soft) last time out, with a staying on success in first-time blinkers. Up 3lb for that, but headgear retained, and she is entitled to consideration in a weak contest.
Although it isn't saying much, he has been in the best form of his career on his last two starts, going close at Ayr (1m5f, good) and even closer over that C&D last time (in cheekpieces). Could have a say from the same mark.
With the exception of his second juvenile start, on heavy ground, he has looked moderate, but shows an occasional glimmer of the ability to win a race. Well held on his debut for this trainer last time, and hard to fancy.
Made the frame in a Thirsk handicap (1m4f, soft) last August, when 2lb higher, but has been put in his place in all five subsequent starts. Can only watch.
Has looked moderate in all five starts at trips from 6f-1m. Plenty for her to prove both based on that form and also now stepped up to this significantly longer trip.
Big prices and beaten by increasing margins in all three of her runs so far (7f-1m). Step up in trip far from certain to suit for this handicap debut, so would only really be of interest if there is significant market confidence.

Millie The Minx (13/8), One Last Hug (7/2), Somewhat Sisyphean (6/1), Ritchie Star (13/2), Frankster (7/1), Duke Of Yorkshire (14/1), Evolutionary (14/1), Magical Spell (25/1), Miss Mistral (40/1), Fedora Fits (40/1), Se You (125/1)
A weak race where Duke Of Yorkshire may still be capable of involvement, but soft ground is very much a concern and preference is for MILLIE THE MINX, who stayed on well over shorter last time and might find enough to defy a 3lb rise now racing over 1m4f. One Last Hug is another of interest, but keep a check on the market, which should be a good guide for a race like this.

- Duke Of Yorkshire
