2m4f hurdle winner who is 0-7 on turf in this code. Went close in a Newcastle handicap (1m4½f, AW) in January, when 4lb lower, and ran well at Southwell next time. Not seen since, and plenty to prove on soft ground.
Won a Carlisle novices' handicap (1m3f, good to soft) last August, when 1lb lower, but that is his sole success from 26 attempts. Well held in two runs at Ayr last month, and needs to show much more than that.
Has already shown a liking for this track having run here in three of his five starts for this trainer, winning over 1m3f (good to soft) on his penultimate start. 3lb higher here, and held since over shorter, but could again be involved.
Has begun to show more in her last couple of starts, the latest when just ½L second of 10 here over 1m3f (good to soft) last month. Up 2lb for that, but sees out this trip and is entitled to consideration.
Looked moderate until finding significant improvement to win emphatically by 7½L at Catterick (1m4f, good) last time. Carries a 6lb penalty here, but if he repeats that sort of effort he will be very hard to beat.
Fast ground 1m4f winner at Thirsk a couple of years ago, and has since won a hurdle. However, was badly out of sorts in that code last autumn and hasn't been seen since. Bit to prove.
Well held in all nine starts to date, and despite his receding mark, he is hard to make a serious case for on this evidence.
Has raced 10 times and barely shown any ability in any of those runs. Beaten a long way in both starts this term. Readily opposed.
12-race maiden, but has gone close twice on good to firm going (1m1f/1m3½f), the latest being at Windsor recently. Nudged up 1lb for that, and far from certain to produce a repeat, but if she can she'd be a contender. Handles soft.
Yet to go close, but not devoid of ability based on his penultimate start at Doncaster, when tried over further. Nonetheless, there are other more obvious contenders in this.
Has had three novice/maiden runs over 7f-1m½f, being well held on each occasion. Initial mark looks stiff based on that bare form.
Forecasts
Tigerten (8/13), Flying Moon (11/2), Bouncing Bobby (11/2), Tattenhams (11/1), Convivial (12/1), The Mekon (33/1), Frame Rate (33/1), Hugoigo (40/1), Princess Nearco (40/1), Champagne Fountain (66/1), Allsfineandandy (200/1)
Although the obvious choice, it is hard to get away from the impression created by TIGERTEN in winning at Catterick. He is still well in under his penalty and is a confident choice to follow up. Tattenhams looks next best if she can string two performances together, while Flying Moon and Convivial are others to consider.
