Seasonal return at Windsor (5f, good to firm) was promising when finishing second but gone backwards in two runs since; tongue-tied for the first time now with claiming rider up but must rebound from poor efforts upped in trip.
Shaped with a degree of purpose for a long way on seasonal bow at Chepstow (7f, good) recently; drops in trip with Richard Kingscote taking over and goes on the shortlist.
Twice placed over 5f/5½f here last month, beaten only a neck last time; must put a poor run at Sandown behind him now returned to this venue.
Ex-Henry De Bromhead-trained filly; started well for this trainer at Windsor; including neck-second over 6f in July. Disappointing since at Wolverhampton but could bounce back.
Hasn't had as many starts as some of these but promise of last summer (including near miss in C&D maiden) has dissipated somewhat and poor in both runs this term.
Some promise on the all-weather last winter but looks fairly limited; back from a break/wind op and must improve to score.
Regressive four-year-old tried over all manner of trips in search of the key. Best effort for a while after a slow start when fourth at Yarmouth recently but such issues at the gates are perennial so is a high-risk proposition.
16 attempts without success; back from wind surgery and 346-day absence when fourth over C&D last month and not disgraced four days later when 2¼L of the speed in fifth of eight. Blinkers back on and should be in the mix.
Has only had eight starts and showing some good signs in three runs for this trainer; latest being a 2¾L second of 12 at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm) late last month at 28-1. Down in trip and worth a look in current mode give this is weak stuff.
0-32 now though both efforts this term have been decent; building on reappearance fourth over C&D when making the frame at Leicester (5f, good to firm) this month; despite being unfancied in betting both times. Should give a good account.
20-race maiden now firmly going in the wrong direction; off since December and watching brief advised despite returning to action in this company.
Forecasts
Q Twenty Boy (4/1), Velvet Vista (4/1), Onebaba (9/2), Eastern Star (13/2), A Place To Dream (15/2), Mykindofsunshine (9/1), Stopdworldnletmeof (12/1), Spirit Of Ishy (16/1), Potters Question (20/1), Illustrious Spirit (28/1), Tina Teaspoon (80/1)
One to tread lightly in but there were positives in the Chepstow reappearance of ONEBABA 12 days ago. He was perhaps too eager early on and might do better with the gas gone now. He's on a workable mark and has Richard Kingscote taking over in this weak affair. Stopdworldnletmeof has twice run well lately while Spirit Of Ishy has shaped well in both runs here this term and may do so again.
