Four-time winner on turf; getting stronger with each of three runs this season and beaten only 1L in third at Newmarket last time in Class 4 event; same mark here and rates an obvious contender.
Neck-second behind Secret Return over C&D last month and has won narrowly since at Newbury; boasts a win over track and trip last summer and player again despite returning here from a career-high mark.
Poor strike-rate (2-34) but ran well in third here last month behind Secret Return and Tell William; not as good since at Sandown but handicapper offers some relief not and meets those rivals on much better terms as a consequence.
Lightly-raced AW novice winner from January 2019; that earned an opening mark of 83 which was probably too much. Last of six on reappearance at Leicester (1m, good to firm; 10-1). Handicapper eases him 5lb and first-time cheekpieces tried.
Winner last summer over C&D off a mark of 75; in the handicapper's clutch since and was more than 5L down in seventh in race won by Secret Return last month. Eased below previous win-mark now but more needed.
C&D winner with 8-36 record on turf; had dropped a long way in rating prior to winning twice at Chepstow (7f/1m) and was duly found out again at Newbury last month off 76. That was five races in just over a month and given short break since.

SECRET RETURN rattled home to win over C&D last month on second start for new trainer Robyn Brisland, despite having to come wide to get a run. She went by Tell William in the dying strides and was perhaps value for more than the slender margin. Marcus Tregoning's charge won next time at Newbury but, with Tyler Heard taking 7lb off on the mare, may settle for minors back here again as he's effectively 6lb worse off on these terms and the selection has run well in a better race since at Glorious Goodwood. There are plenty dangers, headed by Balgair and Swift Approval – if the latter sees this trip out.
