Son of Camelot looked one to follow when winning on debut at Newmarket in October by 5L over 1m2f (soft; 8-1); shaped nicely in hot York novice (1m2½f, good; 6-4f) last month and this looks easier on paper.
Gelded son of New Approach; went close on debut at Haydock (1m2f, good; 13-2) in June and off the mark in good style second time out at Windsor (1m2f, good to firm; 4-5f) last month. Form is reliable and has to be taken very seriously under penalty.
Midfield in 7f Sandown maiden won by still unbeaten and now Group 1-winning miler Palace Pier in one run last year; back from winter absence to win at Leicester (1m2f, good to firm; 11-10f) in June. Scope for better, may need it.
Excellent pedigree and was only worn down late on debut at Yarmouth (1m3½f, good to firm; 9-2) in June; third and fourth won since. Can improve again up in trip.
Ran very well on debut when neck second over C&D but raced too freely at Lingfield (1m4f) last time. Will need to settle better but perhaps return here will be an aid.
$75,000 US bred son of Lemon Drop Kid out of US 1m turf and dirt winner. Finished last at Windsor on debut (1m2f, good to firm; 66-1) and looks up against it on that showing.
Teofilo colt has got to improve significantly on two turf efforts at Chepstow and Doncaster so far if he's going to figure at the business end.
Daughter of Nathaniel was fancied in the betting for debut here in June but tailed off (reportedly found with irregular heartbeat); another tame showing since at 100-1 in Windsor novice (1m3½f, good to soft) and needs to display some positives.
Dawn Approach filly. Half-sister to 1m3f-1m4f winner Cribbs Causeway and 1m winner Voyager Blue, both useful, from good family. Watch betting but there are easier starting places for sure.

This is a useful event for the grade. My Frankel won well at Leicester last time and should go well, while Brentford Hope reappeared in a strong York contest last month and ran well for a long way before fading. He should be sharper and his autumn win at Newmarket left a big impression. However CASTING VOTE did things well in an all-the-way success at Windsor and, with that form boosted since, can continue his progress en route to another win for a yard/jockey enjoying an excellent summer. Dubai Welcome was second on debut at Yarmouth and has definite scope for better.
