Has done a lot of travelling during his career - the highlight being when he won a Group 3 in Turkey for George Scott three years ago. Didn't fire when with Richard Hughes and now debuts for another new yard; drop to 6f not an issue though.
Won the Rockingham Stakes (6f, Listed) at York last summer but then held in a subsequent Group 3; and hasn't shown much in three starts this year. Something to prove in an open-age handicap for the first time but the ease in grade is a help.
A seasoned campaigner that is very capable at this level; exploited a lenient mark to win a 12-runner handicap at York last month and a 4lb rise looks fair. He's already a three-time C&D winner and has lots going for him once more.
Got his 2020 campaign off to a flyer with a 7f handicap win at Doncaster in June but held in a higher grade three times since. Eased here, but it's still a competitive affair and dropping down to 6f for the first time in two years is a concern.
Back from wind surgery with a modest display at York last month (finished eleventh of 18, Muscika was a close runner up that day). More needed, but worth bearing in mind he's 1lb lower than when he won at Redcar last year; chance if he bounces back.
Holding his form well since the resumption of racing and done enough to be considered as a serious player at this level; went up 8lb for his win at York last month but a career best is a distinct possibility judging by recent performances.
Being kept busy and may have done better at Ripon earlier in the week had he not stumbled in the early stages; notable he had his stablemate East Street Revue in behind when winning at that course last June. Looks the yard's main hope this time.
A progressive three-year-old that won with a bit in hand at Doncaster last month; and a 7lb higher mark isn't an insurmountable barrier if he continues to flourish. Well drawn and conditions should be fine; capable of being thereabouts.
Showed promise as a 2-Y-O but only managed one win (7f, good to firm, at Doncaster) during his time with Karl Burke and swapped stables a couple of times since. By far his best effort since when chasing home Abate last time out; strong place claims.
C&D winner from just a 1lb lower mark last September and also placed over 5f here latest. Gets on well with today's rider and helps bolster the chances for his in-form yard; but Bossipop does look the better Easterby option on this occasion.

Muscika and Intrinsic Bond are both likely to be popular after their respective last-time-out wins and both merit serious consideration once more. However, ABATE is also on the crest of a wave and it would be no surprise to see him defy an 8lb rise for his win at York at the end of July and he is the narrowly preferred suggestion. Swissterious could also have a bit more to offer now that he seems to have settled into his new yard's surroundings and he too shouldn't be underestimated. His stablemate Another Batt and Aberama Gold are both eased in grade and either could at least make the frame if on song.
