Highly tried and struggled since second over C&D on soft ground in early July. Welter burden to overcome here but is a previous C&D winner. Fast ground would be a worry.
Running well in highly competitive contests and even though 11th of 19 latest in the International at Ascot he was only beaten 5¼L. This much easier and certainly has decent claims.
Beat Blue Mist (since won International) at Newbury in return and fourth at Newmarket next another solid run. Back to 6f latest he probably did too much too soon but highly respected back over 7f here.
1m Thirsk winner last September not really found his feet in two 2020 outings but drops in trip now in search of missing link.
Kept busy last year, winning five times, and hinted he was capable of taking advantage of his lower turf mark when catching the eye in the Buckingham Palace Stakes. Fourth at Ascot latest another fair effort and respected here.
Landed back-to-back wins albeit six months apart at Newcastle and Redcar before enduring a rough ride and troubled passage at York latest. Every chance he bounces back and goes well here.
Both of his wins over 6f on a sound surface at two. Couple of fourths this term before well held at York latest and overall he still looks higher than his form justifies.
Twice successful over this 7f trip as a juvenile, including when making all in a Class 4 nursery at Goodwood (good). Two efforts this season only fair but does get 3lb back from the handicapper.
Won over this trip at Kempton two starts back and although held since at Ayr he isn't ignored with stable's runners often able to bounce back from such disappointments.
Found a good opening to get off the mark at the 11th time of asking latest in a weak 6f Wolverhampton maiden. Handicap form less appealing but confidence could now be buoyed.

Forecasts
Breath Of Air (9/2), Irreverent (5/1), War Glory (11/2), Arbalet (6/1), Indian Creak (13/2), Sermon (17/2), Northernpowerhouse (9/1), Young Fire (10/1), Dutch Decoy (12/1), Sir Titan (14/1), Triggered (16/1), Cold Stare (28/1)
A really tough contest this with few who can be eliminated altogether from the picture. Likable sort ARBALET can land the spoils for the prolific O'Meara and Curtis combination after competing with great credit in some really warm handicaps this season. Breath Of Air is a big danger back up in trip after a below par run over 6f latest; War Glory and Northernpowerhouse also bring solid claims to the table too.
