Triple winner over 6f-6½f, all on going with 'good' in the description. Twice runner-up in Group 3s and despite not having won over the minimum trip, he should have enough speed to be very competitive here.
Has been in good form this year, winning four times already, over trips from 5f (latest) to 1m. Conditions no problem, and his latest effort was another step up, so he has to be taken seriously now up another 4lb.
Sole success came when trained in France (5f, soft) last year. Put up a career-best when 1L third in the Group 2 Flying Childers at Doncaster last September, but has regressed with each run since. Even so, can't rule him out on his handicap debut.
Multiple turf winner, including a Group 2, but hasn't added to his tally for well over two years now. Trip and conditions not a problem, and he is weighted to go close, so can't rule that out now dropped back to the minimum trip.
Triple winner over this trip and arrives in super form after recording two of those wins this season, and going very close again last time. Up another 3lb, but still improving and should be a big player.
Triple winner over 6f. Returned from a break after also changing stables with a respectable effort at the Curragh last time, but needs significant improvement on that to win from the same mark.
Won a Navan handicap (5f, good to firm) in May 2019, when 8lb lower, but has been unable to replicate that effort since the handicapper reassessed her. Has shown she can compete from this mark, but more needed to win again.
Improved on his 3yo form in four starts this term, winning a Bellewstown maiden (5f, yld) last month, by an easy 4L. Handicapper didn't miss that, but he ran respectably from this 12lb higher mark last time and isn't ruled out.
Dual sprint winner who has won on both good and soft ground. Finished ahead of some of today's opponents when ½L third in a Curragh handicap last month (5f, yld). Not as good last time, but is a big player if blinkers help to eek out a bit more.
Has begun to show more of what he is capable of since going handicapping on his last two starts, scoring at the Curragh (5f, gd-yld) last month, and then going close back there last time, after a 15lb rise. Should be more to come. Contender.
Looked moderate on her first two starts, but put that behind her with a much-improved effort to land a shock 150-1 success in a Curragh maiden (5f, yld) last time. Initial mark a bit stiff, but if she can step up again she'd be a player.
Produced a career-best to score in a Navan handicap (5f, soft) two starts ago, doing that with authority. 13lb rise was sufficient to stop her in a decent Curragh handicap last time, but she is not fully exposed nor written off.
Showed no more than glimpses of promise prior to the switch to handicap company and addition of a visor last time, which saw her win a Down Royal handicap (5f, good). 16lb rise for that looks eyewatering, but clearly not one to rule out.

Strong Johnson (5/2), Laugh A Minute (9/2), Nordic Passage (15/2), Master Matt (9/1), Lady Maura (10/1), My Laureate (11/1), Elzaamone (11/1), Ardhoomey (12/1), Tide Of Time (14/1), Goodnight Girl (18/1), Inflection Point (25/1), Musical Rue (25/1), Chocquinto (33/1), Wheels On Fire (40/1)
A race to look forward to here and several have claims. Musical Rue, Lady Maura and Chocquinto could all go well from lower in the weights, but another runner down there, Elzaamone might have their measure. Laugh A Minute should give a good account under topweight, while Nordic Passage could also have a big say. However, preference is for STRONG JOHNSON, who is a sprinter on the up, and he is taken to win again.
- Strong Johnson
- Nordic Passage
- Elzaamone
