Getting more unreliable by the run with his quirks once again getting the better of him last time throwing away another chance of victory over C&D. Not the first time he's been let down by his attitude and not one who can be trusted.
Not seen to best effect over 1m last time that trip barely an adequate test these days (needs further). Has run some consistent enough races of late, cheekpieces back on and with a sliding mark to take advantage of, not one to totally ignore.
16-run maiden whose two best efforts of late have come over the 7.2f trip here, good neck second in a first-time tongue-tie over that trip last time. This trip may just stretch him but worthy of consideration given how well he's gone here of late.
Lightly-raced sort who looks to have had his problems having left Charles Hills after his handicap debut. Showed little for this yard recently in a first-time visor after a 13 month break, this run may reveal more about his remaining ability.
Returns from a fair absence having failed to build on the promise of a previous run when last seen at Lingfield/AW over 6f. Drifted down the handicap to below his last winning mark, just a question as to whether he can take advantage.
Course winner, starts out for a new yard with an 18-run losing sequence weighing him down at the moment. Underperformed when last seen over C&D, hope would be that the change of yard provides some form of rejuvenation.
Twice a winner here over similar trips the latest over 7.2f in July with the follow up over the same C&D matching that firm despite finishing only third this time. Has struggled to stand racing in the recent past, up in trip, should be in the mix.
Despite being down to what looks a handy mark a record of 1-23 on the Flat does spell a note of caution. Blinkers worn last time remain on, probably needs a slightly longer trip to be seen at his best, not totally written off though.
Struggling to fire at the moment with both starts this year being poor (not beaten a rival). Still yet to win a race and can't really be relied on to produce anything more until showing some signs of recovery.
Recent turf starts have been poor not really looking as though he in any sort of form despite being badly placed last time. Best effort so far did come on the AW so there may be some hope yet switching back to this surface in a first-time visor.
Shaped better than his finishing position would suggest last time at Kempton (1m) when returning to action (typically took a strong hold). Now has to back that up on a different surface but the handicapper has given him a chance off this mark.
Losing sequence is starting to build having not been successful since scoring in his native France in 2018. Struggled for Tim Easterby in GB before bouncing back for this yard last time, a change of headgear/ return to AW possible reasons for that.
Improved for the switch to handicaps when last seen on the AW in February (Lingfield, 1m) travelling well until hampered/effort flattened out. Boasts a useful pedigree so could improve again if ready to go after an absence on a different AW surface.

There may be one or two that look interesting at bigger prices here such as Uncle Sid returned to the AW (best run on synthetics) with a first-time visor on and Trust Me who the handicapper has given a real chance to after his useful Kempton effort. Vivacious Spirit has been knocking on the door for a while now and has to be respected along with Deftera Lad who looks to be putting some fair performances together and acts well here. The 3yo NIGHT TIME GIRL is the pick though having improved on her previous performances when switched to handicaps. Her pedigree leads you to believe that she could be better than she’s shown so far and further progress can’t be ruled out.
