Ready winner on debut at Newton Abbot, looking a useful prospect in the process, but disappointing he couldn't follow up under the penalty under the same conditions next time. Every chance if bouncing back.
Showcasing gelding, ran respectably on debut at Uttoxeter two weeks ago, finishing fifth and looking in need of a bit further. Place chances if coming on from that debut effort.

Bred to make a chaser in time, and he ran a very nice first race behind a potentially useful one at Market Rasen last month, finishing a close fourth. Will undoubtedly want further in time, but yard still cannot find a winner.

Caught the eye with a staying-on 3¾l third to Little Jesture (Beholden second) at Newton Abbot on latest start, an improvement his Wincanton debut in January, and looks capable of winning a race of this nature. Chances with another step forward.

Chaztara13
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-6| J: C Brace(3)| T: F O'Brien
12/1
Only sent off a 7-2 chance for Newton Abbot debut but never got in the race and was well held (finished behind both Beholden and Presenting Yeats). Early days and clearly better was expected there, so cannot be dismissed easily here.
Black Sam Bellamy filly, dam a moderate chaser/hurder and is from a yard that are haven't had a NH winner of any description for some seven years; not hard to look elsewhere for the winner.

Forecasts

Beholden (2/5), Bucks Dream (6/1), Presenting Yeats (7/1), Chaztara (12/1), My Perfect Cousin (33/1), Pat's Light (66/1)

Verdict

Beholden will probably win this if he can repeat his debut win but like so many bumper horses, found it harder once he'd got the penalty and is vulnerable again. PRESENTING YEATS wasn't far behind him last time and with that under his belt, can reverse the form today. Chaztara wasn't without market support on her debut and can surely do better, and both My Perfect Cousin and Bucks Dream have shown ability.
  1. Presenting Yeats
  2. Beholden
  3. Chaztara
