Dropped to 5f and found only one too good in C&D event last time out in first-time blinkers (retained); needs more in effort to go one better.
Cost £85,000 and promise in all three runs; runner-up in the two most recent of those and sets the standard here with Cieren Fallon also taking off a handy 3lb.
Easy to back on debut at Newmarket (5f, good/firm) in a race that contained three next time out winners; the Queen Mary second and a subsequent Listed winner. Race didn't pan out ideally for her, open to progress but does have a bit to find on form.
67,000 gns yearling; sister to 1m AW winner Dolcissimo, half-sister to four winners inc Bow Creek (7f-1m1f inc at 2/Group 2), Dare To Dream (1m-1m2f) and Bint Nayef (1m4f Ire/Ger); dam 1m-1m4f winner (inc Group 3).
Improved on second start (first on turf) when 5¼L third of seven at Chepstow (6f, good; 125-1) early last month in a fillies' novice; this is tougher and so more progress demanded.
Forecasts
Vedute (5/6), Grey Sparkle (10/3), Accrington Stanley (5/1), Ladywood (9/1), Priti Agrippa (25/1)
VEDUTE ran into an easy winner from the front last time out but his form in three starts suggests he's going to be on the scoreboard soon and with Cieren Fallon taking 3lb off; this is his chance. Last time out C&D second Accrington Stanley has similar ambitions while Grey Sparkle shaped with some promise in a red-hot Newmarket maiden in June and can improve to be competitive.
- Vedute
- Accrington Stanley
