Made all to win a mares handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter last spring, and ran well on next start before losing her form totally. Could be fresh is the time to catch her and if taking to fences, she looks a class above this lot.
Winner of four point-to-points but now 0-14 under Rules and appears to be having a hard time of it, well beaten off at Uttoxeter last time (hurdles) after pulling too hard. Trip and likely ground fine, but plenty to prove at present.
Twice successful in point-to-points and had put in a better effort at Ffos Las on his latest start in January, a mistake late on not helping but stayed on for second. Quicker ground here and may need the run after an absence, but has more to offer.
Quite highly tried early in his career and maybe his mark has been too high for some while as a result, but in truth had become very disappointing anyway, and now needs this switch to fences to bring about a revival. Ground plenty quick enough too.
Just three wins in 60 starts under all codes tells you he finds winning hard, but he does at least come into this off the back of a decent effort at Southwell where he finished a close third. Place chances if repeating in a weak contest.
Has been going nowhere in maiden/novice hurdles and was totally outclassed in a novice chase at Stratford last time out. This is at least a more realistic target but it takes a leap of faith to get with him at present.
One win in 31 starts immediately spells out the issue, he simply doesn't win races and despite a couple of perfectly solid efforts in this sort of company last season, he does make mistakes and it'll be a surprise if he's good enough.
Just one win in 16 starts and has been going nowhere over hurdles for a while, a disappointing favourite at Stratford last month and is hardly bred for this switch to fences. Others readily preferred.
Still a maiden after 20 starts but has at least been placed in two of his three chase starts to date, which offers some hope in a modest contest. Could do with a drop of rain, but has a chance all the same.
Point-to-point winner back in 2019, readily held over hurdles all seven starts to date and looks modest, but there's some encouragement that she might do a little better over fences from her pedigree.
0-26 under Rules but does have three point-to-point victories to her name. Hard work at the best of times and having not been seen out since December, may well need this run regardless.
Forecasts
Cheltenam De Vaige (4/1), Fukuto (5/1), Robin Of Sherwood (5/1), Giga White (6/1), Sea's Aria (7/1), Mrs Miggins (7/1), Robin De Broome (15/2), Bluebell Sally (28/1), Kalaskadesemilley (28/1), Exit Plan (33/1), Poetic Presence (100/1)
You'd not want to be risking your last fiver on any of these, in truth, and some caution is advised .MRS MIGGINS gets the vote in the hope she can transfer her hurdles form over fences today, which might be enough to see these off. She's probably better class than the rest of this field, and can make that tell. The two Robins, Robin De Broome and Robin Of Sherwood, have more going for them than a few here and can fight it out for the places, along with Sea's Aria who comes here off the back of one of his better efforts.
- Mrs Miggins
- Robin Of Sherwood
- Robin De Broome
