284-day absence to defy on his seasonal return but he may be the one to beat judged on the basis of his debut victory at Newbury (6f; heavy). Form has a strong look to it (front pair drew clear of the field). Makes AW debut.
Extremely impressive when slamming the 94-rated Corvair on debut, & then ran respectably when third to the talented Malotru in a 'Listed' contest over C&D back in February. Now returns from subsequent 157-day break with a huge chance.
Back at 7f now after being beaten a long way at Bath (1m; good) when last seen. Impossible to fancy judged on her two career starts & so he is confidently ruled out.
Bitterly disappointing when a warm favourite (11/8f) for a weak maiden at Catterick (6f; good) only to be no match for the winner. Overall record now stands at 0-9 & is vulnerable to improvers so she is opposed with plenty to prove.
Best watched after running in accordance with the big prices she has been sent off at on each of her two starts so far, including when last of nine over 1m at this track in February. Not seen since so also has a 171-day absence to defy.
Major questions to answer after she ran no sort of race when switched to turf at Newmarket (1m; good to firm) recently. Return to AW could suit better on that basis but not one to invest faith in until offering more encouragement
Sole newcomer in the field. Acclamation filly. Cost 57,000gns as a yearling. Dam won three times on the AW over 1m. In against rivals who have shown a fair level of ability on debut so unlikely to feature on debut.
Offered definite promise on debut in a decent-looking Newmarket (1m; good to firm) maiden when fifth. Drop in trip unlikely to pose any problems & she should be firmly on the scene in a slightly weaker race.

The Perfect Crown (1/2), With Respect (3/1), Aroha (5/1), Rocky Dreams (8/1), Georgette (14/1), Miss Mulligan (16/1), French Battle (100/1), Fair Man (125/1), Chica Del Dia (200/1)
The most interesting contender in the line-up is With Respect who makes his seasonal reappearance and looked a smart sort when denying the 91-rated Cold Front on debut at Newbury. He faces a different test now though as he makes his AW debut on his first run of the season so may be worth taking on. THE PERFECT CROWN has done very little wrong in just two starts himself & is fancied to regain the winning thread after he backed up the promise of his eight-length debut victory when third over C&D in a ''Listed' contest. The aforementioned pair are miles clear of the remainder on form but perhaps Miss Mulligan could run into a place after she displayed some promise on debut.
- The Perfect Crown
- With Respect
- Miss Mulligan
