Relatively unexposed on turf but did win at Newmarket last spring off 4lb lower. Hasn't quite been in same form in two runs since the return but too early to suggest he won't be a player here with first-time blinkers applied.

Goes well here winning at both 5f and 6f. Could be approaching peak now following two runs so far and eased 2lb following fair fifth over C&D last time. One for the shortlist.

Usually races prominently but different tactics tried without success last time when denied a clear run. Could make them all go if getting out quickly and is hard to rule out of the reckoning.

Dual 5f winner for Karl Burke including in June at Redcar. Failed by just a neck to follow up on soft ground at Haydock last month. Makes debut for new yard that has 14% strike rate here.

Group 3 winner in his time and still able to pay his way as showed when scoring over 5f at Lingfield in June. Disappointed subsequent start at Wolverhampton but returns following a month off and may bounce back.

On a long losing run since Chester May 2018 and first-time blinkers now applied after some in-and-out efforts so far this term. Hard to know what to expect although stable has been in fine form of late.

Forecasts

Daschas (5/2), Wonderwork (7/2), Top Breeze (9/2), Spoof (9/2), Just Glamorous (13/2), Wild Edric (10/1)

Verdict

DASCHAS may just about prove good enough in a tight-knit sprint handicap having run a solid race last time. He goes well at this track. Wild Edric could porvide the main danger and looked a little unlucky in running last time out. Just Glamnorous has had a mid-term break and may bounce back from a poor run last time, and the blinkers could help Spoof whose yard is going well. The market may prove a useful guide.
  1. Daschas
  2. Wild Edric
  3. Spoof
