300/1
Nine-race maiden including one previous wide-margin defeat over hurdles at Roscommon in June before running well in defeat at Ballinrobe on the Flat over 1m5f last month. Inconceivable first time cheekpieces will produce the required improvement.

Filly by Free Eagle out of a Gone West mare. Closely related to Katasena, winner between 1m3½f/1m4f. Not disgraced in a couple of starts since racing returned in June but handicapping route appears the best option.

Forecasts

Prose (7/4), La Joya (15/8), Alaiya (11/2), Starlight Dream (11/2), Golddragon Reef (7/1), Pista (12/1), Lady Dahlia (14/1), Kasmiyra (33/1), Secret Sea (80/1), Ursus Belle (300/1), Minky (300/1)

Verdict

The Willie Mullins yard is in rude health this week and can strike again with the once-raced LA JOYA under Kevin Manning. The three-year-old ran with credit in defeat on debut over 1m2f at Fairyhouse in June and can take a huge step forward here with the Aidan O'Brien-trained, Prose emerging as the biggest danger, following a number of solid efforts in defeat since racing returned in June. In a race where few may get into it, Starlight Dream, Alaiya and Pista look the best of those with experience.
  1. La Joya
  2. Prose
  3. Pista
