Landed three-runner C&D novice stakes last year for Karl Burke. Beaten just one length on debt for current yard on seasonal return at HQ in June but has turned in two poor runs since then and has questions to answer.
Dual winner May 2019 over 1m for Brian Ellison, and off the mark at third time of asking for current handler when winning over C&D last month. Life tougher off 5lb higher but seems sure to run anotehr solid race.
Dual C&D winner in 2018 and won twice on AW in December. Easing slowly down the weights this summer and not disgraced latest in higher grade at York. Bold show quite likely back at happy hunting ground.
3-10 on AW but 0-11 on turf although has been runner-up foru times. Not in great form of late though but handicapper is relenting and addition of first-time cheekpieces may help the cause.
11 races without any joy prior to turning over new leaf this summer. Close third at Thirsk in June and has won twice over C&D since then, last time battling home by a neck. Raised further 5lb but loves it here and will make another bold bid.
Consistent gelding who ran a rare poor race last time having previously won over C&D in soft ground. May bounce back and no surprise to see him right in the mix where it matters most.
Won three mile handicaps last season, and despite running well when third here penultimate start has looked in grip of the handicapper so far this term and may again find a few too good off current mark.
Five-race maiden who hasbeen third a couple of times, including on debut here last July. Banged head in stalls and ran accordingly when last of 11 on seasonal return at Wolverhampton last month but on balance has a bt to find to win here.
Three-time C&D winner here last season and ran well latest on first run of campaign when staying-on fourth in Beverley mile handicap last month. Only 1lb higher than last course win so has every chance of adding to course haul.
Siyouni gelding who ran three times last season for Clive Cox, finishing fair second in 7f Chepstow novice last September. Joined current yard in December for 13,000gns and makes handicap bow and first run of season here. Worth a market check.
Yet to win in nine attempts but has run creditably last two starts at Musselburgh and Ayr off this mark. Yet to race on ground worse than good but has a chance if coping with anticipated conditions.
Edged home by a nose over C&D last August in heavy ground then fair third here soon after. Badly out of form since then including in two subsequent runs here and is clearly struggling at present.
Seven-race maiden who has porved disappinting with exception of fair second at Newcastle in 1m h'cap in January. Not done enough in two efforts at Beverley of late to suggest he's going to trouble the judge this time although is eased 3lb.

Antico Lady (11/4), Smeaton (16/5), Internationaltiger (6/1), My Ukulele (15/2), Vive La Difference (9/1), Gweedore (11/1), Granite City Doc (12/1), Spirit Of Sarwan (14/1), Ghayyar (16/1), First Response (28/1), Remmy D (40/1), Modakhar (50/1), General Joe (50/1), Blistering Barney (100/1)
SPIRIT OF SARWAN had a fine time here last term winning three over C&D and after finishing a promising fourth on his seasonal bow last time at Beverley looks primed for another assault on the winners enclosure. Smeaton also likes the Hamilton air and has won twice over C&D of late but is now 12lb higher than the first of those victories. He needs to improve again to continue hs sequence. Antico Lady battled home here last time off 5lb lower and is another with obvious claims in an interesting finale, while Granite City Doc and the dropped in grade Vive La Difference are also of some interest. Handicap debutant General Joe is another worth monitoring.
